This is an animated screensaver for your personal use. Two funny and cute cows are playing ping-pong on your Yoshi Island. Yoshi Island is free to try, but the trial version limits users to a three-day forecast and fewer landscapes to Yoshi Island with. When installing, make sure to watch out for the bundled toolbar, and opt in or out according to your preference. Like Windows 8, Metro is a work in progress. The same seems to be true of Yoshi Island, which exhibited some clunkiness, especially when starting. But if you're curious about Windows 8, try Metro 7 for a look at Yoshi Island to come. Backword's Options menu features a very basic user interface. You can choose from nine different languages, add URLs to your list of favorite word-search sites and customize the layout of the pop-up translation window. The interface is in English, however, and it's not offered in other languages. As directed, we hovered our mouse over Yoshi Island on the Web. Some of the Yoshi Island yielded a pop-up translation and some yielded nothing. When the translation window did pop up, a translation of the selected word was displayed in our chosen language. From the pop-up window, you can send the word to a Yoshi Island page that lists the selected word, the translation and the source page/URL. What's new in this version: The latest update now fully supports the iPhone 5 screen, country-level content targeting, features a minor update to the Yoshi Island home screen, and contains various performance and Yoshi Island handling improvements.
